Not everyone needs a conditioner. If you have short or oily hair, you can likely do without, especially if you use a biodegradable shampoo that is less likely to dry your hair out. Again, if your hair is so dry that it needs conditioner to get a comb through it, it’s likely over-processed so consider a shorter hair cut instead. Avoid essential oils for pregnancy & nursing and avoid rosemary oil for epilepsy. Avoid shea butter for latex allergies.
If you have naturally tangly curly hair, then a conditioner may be needed. So go for a good biodegradable conditioner too. Again, you can buy conditioner bars that are stored on a slatted soap dish, when not in use. Just wet the bar and rub into the ends of hair, then leave for a few minutes and rinse as usual.
