Gaz Oakley’s Vegan Welsh Rarebit (Avant Garde Vegan) is a classical chef’s version of Welsh ‘cheese on toast’. This dish is made with plant milk and cashews, and cheesy-tasting nutritional yeast, which is rich in vitamin B12. There is also some mustard and white miso in there for taste, and onion powder too. Served with caramelized red onions.
